Best Card for Entrepreneurs and Business Executives

Want a discount on a Porsche? Lowest prices on airlines, resorts, and hotels? In the world of business travel, there are so many options. Sure, we get the perks and “miles” to rack up on every purchase, but sometimes those just aren’t enough. Or perhaps you get a good return on every purchase but are looking for more ways to get even more out of your travel related business trips. In this article I’ll share with you the best card for entrepreneurs and business executives that I personally use to get more than just travel rewards.

I’ve been a member of FoundersCard for the past 3 years (at the time of this writing) and have used it to reserve rental vehicles, purchase a new laptop, and yes, even used it to subscribe to Fiji Water to provide at my in-person meetups and events.

What is FoundersCard and What Makes it the Best Card for Entrepreneurs and Business Executives?

FoundersCard isn’t a credit card but rather a membership card that gives you access to a wide range of hundreds of products and services at a huge discount. Here are just a few things you can get discounts on:

  • Hotels and resorts around the world
  • Speakers
  • Gym memberships
  • Concierge services
  • Shoes
  • Hotel rewards from Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt, and more
  • CRMs and other marketing tools & softwares
  • Analytic tools
  • Golf courses
  • Co-working and private office spaces
  • Computers (PC and Apple)
  • Stripe discount
  • Food and wine
  • Plus much, MUCH more

How can they offer such huge discounts?

Basically, they partner with companies to help them sell more of their products and services by leveraging their membership options. In return, those companies get a customer, build their database of customers, and get a sale. It’s a win-win-win for everyone because FoundersCard gets a subscriber, the partnered companies get a customer and sales, and the member gets access to exclusive member-only deals. That’s what makes this the best card for entrepreneurs and business executives.

Are the deals really that good?

Like most things in the travel business that depends. Depends on the time of year, events, the popularity of the location, airline prices, and many other factors that are too long to list here. And honestly, they change quite often from booking engine to booking engine, hotel site to hotel site.

But just to give you an idea I searched for the Belmond Miraflores Park Lima, Peru in both my FoundersCard membership account and Priceline. Here’s what I found:

Priceline Price:

Here are just a few more examples like this resort in Dubai…

As you can see the savings are huge. Now to be fair the savings aren’t all in the hundreds or thousands of dollars. Again, it depends on the location, time of year, the busyness of the destination, and tons of other factors that I’m sure you’re well aware of in the travel industry.

And to add to these already awesome deals, you still get your reward points for any memberships you already have, such as Marriott Bonvoy, Hyatt, American Airlines, etc. You can really start to rack up the points!

But it’s not just hotels and resorts

Check out these other deals, like this one from Porsche…

Or this one from Delta Air Lines…

Or how about this one for orders and subscriptions to software services…

And the list goes on and on and on…

So the next question is…how much does it cost?

Considering I barely scraped the tip of the iceberg on all the products and services you can get deals on (there are literally thousands of products and services you get access to as a member), you can clearly see the membership benefits you receive with FoundersCard. Membership fees range from $295 to $995 per year, with a $95 activation fee, depending on your plan, with their Elite membership being the most expensive. But if you consider that all you have to do is go on a couple of trips or invest in a few products for your company, the membership fee more than pays for itself.

In addition to the discounts and deals, you also enjoy the benefits of early check-in, late check-out, upgrades, and MUCH more (subject to specific hotel and rental policies).

So if you’re a business owner, entrepreneur, or executive that travels often or needs products or services for the office, FoundersCard really is the best card to have in your wallet or purse.

But if you don’t travel often then there may be better alternatives.
